The Membership Benefits Include the Following:

Free access to the golf course.
Free access to the 400-yard grassed range and grassed tee.
Free access to the putting and chipping area.
Complimentary golf cart.
Bag drop and pick-up.
A bottle of water will be provided for each round.

All the above benefits are based on membership type.

The membership is non-transferable and non-refundable.

Suspension and termination of privileges:

Uptown Cairo G.C. may terminate use of the facilities to any individual upon giving such person a written notice of termination. Such action may be taken if the individual did any of the following:

Failed to meet eligibility.
Submitted false information on the application for facility use.
Allowed his/her identification card to be used by another individual.
Failed to pay fees and account balances when due.
Failed to abide by the Rules & Regulations set forth.

Notwithstanding any such termination of privileges, such individual shall remain liable for any unpaid fees, dues, and/or account balances, and such person shall not be entitled to a refund of any fee or dues previously paid.

Golf Operation Hours:

Weekends: 8:00 am to Sunset
Weekdays: 8:00 am to Sunset

Golf Rules, Regulations & Reservation Policy:

Members will be allowed to reserve Tee Times on weekends and public holidays from 7.30 am. and from 8:00 am During the weekdays.
Reservation will be open by telephone +20 2503 2004, +20 128 321 8647 or by email at [email protected] for members 7 days in advance (Subject to availability).
Members are not permitted to use false names in reservations.
In the event of miss use of the reservation system members may have the booking privilege suspended.
Children under 15 years are permitted to play the course under the supervision of an adult member with the prior approval of the management.
Uptown golf course is a Four Ball course on weekends. Singles and twosomes will be paired together to make threesomes or foursomes on weekends and public holidays. Pro Shop/Starters and Golf Professionals have the authority to enforce this rule.
All players must have their own set of clubs and golf bags while playing.
Players may not tee off Hole #10 without permission from the starter or the pro shop.
Golfers must register themselves and their guests at the Pro Shop upon arrival.
Golfers must check in with the Starter to confirm the order of play and present their green fee receipt.
Golfing spectators are welcome at Uptown Cairo G.C. with the prior approval of the professional staff.
The management may restrict spectators on weekends and holidays due to the availability of golf carts.
A spectator will only be permitted use of a cart if the Golf cart rules per group are being honored. For example – No more than 2 carts per flight, and a maximum of 1 cart if only 2 golfers are playing.
Uptown Cairo golf club has the right to close the golf course, especially for maintenance programs, tournaments.
Uptown Cairo golf club has the right to change the price list of Green Fees or Memberships without any prior notice.

Golf Carts

Rules of Play

R&A Rules of Golf apply in addition to local rules.

General Etiquette & Liability:

Please always avoid slow play and allow faster groups to play through.
The speed of play will be always monitored.
Limited to two passengers.
Driven on cart path where provided.
Golf Carts are prohibited from stony, aggregate, and sandy waste areas.
Driving and renting only by persons 18 years of age and older with a valid license.
Any damage or injury resulting from the operation of a golf cart must be reported to the Pro Shop immediately.
All individuals drive carts at their own risk and are responsible for the costs of repairs for any damage.
Golf carts are NOT allowed to be taken out of the golf course.
Carts must stay on cart paths where provided and be parked on the paths, especially around the tees and greens.
Carts must not be taken into sandy waste areas.
All members & guests are fully liable for any damage to Uptown Cairo golf course Assets.
Please repair all ball marks on the greens and repair divots using the sand bottles provided.
Please rake all bunkers after playing your bunker shot.
All golfers must abide by the Marshal’s instructions.

Driving Range

Only hit from a designated area.
Players are allowed to hit from the designated marked area of the grass at Driving range.
Driving range is not a playground area for children.
Adults must respect this and ensure that their children especially young children under 8 years old are not running around the driving range at any time.
An adult must accompany children under 8 years old to ensure their safety.
The management of Uptown Cairo G.C. reserves the right to suspend or revoke privileges for breaking any of these rules.
UPTOWN Cairo G.C. Accepts no responsibility for the loss of any personal belongs.
UPTOWN Cairo G.C. does not provide insurance for golfers and accept no responsibility for any damage or to persons, vehicles, or homes that a golfer may cause while playing golf.
Up Town Cairo G.C. has no responsibility for any injuries or damage Results from golfer ‘s action on the golf course.
